1.- Corporate Structuring.
It is essential to create a corporate structure that complies with E-2 Visa standards. In most cases, this means it is imperative that at least 50% of the corporate structure is owned by foreigners who are nationals of a treaty country aligned with E-2 Visa requirements.
When meeting with a consultant through the Invest program, experts will assist foreign investors to ensure they are in compliance with all U.S. immigration standards before proceeding.
2.- Control of Capital Investment.
After creating a proper corporate structure, foreign investors need to demonstrate that the origin of funds comes from a lawful source. This means that the U.S. requires a background check into the funding to ensure it is acquired legally.
Some examples of this are:
- Savings accounts
- Inheritance
- Property disposition
- Loans that were secured through personal assets
- Donation
This documentation is collected during the invest process to ensure there are no information gaps before the E-2 Visa application process.
